I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

I think India should not produce any IT engineers for next 10 years instead focous on different stream of works like agriculture, energy,ev,militery.This is where large number of people can be adjusted as we were Krishi pradhan desh from long time thats how our economy use to function. With AI and automation this is a very scary situation for our country with such a large population. We as a country will have to speed up and identify such areas and skills and train and put people there as it takes atlest 3 years to bring a new stream into work. We are not innovating it seems like we are stuck in the routine process and slowley coming down. Situation will be much worse if service based start laying off people in lakhs just think of real state,hotels,banks,tourism,restaurant,schools,cabs,..all sector will be doomed. This is very scaey situation. If this financial collapse happen then u might see ur money also stuck in bank.

Yes. Exactly the same. We used to complete 8 story points in a 10 day sprint(2 weeks). Now irrespective of leaves we are asked to complete 10-12 story points. Everyone is over-working and still management is not happy

Having job is good enugh.if u r over 0+ years experience and facing layoff..high chances ur IT career is done and dusted....india will lose 2 million jobs in next 2 years..its mot sustainable any more.. our company relieved 500 + contract workers from infosys ao now u think they will be retained by infy no... Indias service industry gone for toss ..i m 16+ yrs exp searching for job from 1 years no openings in cloud data engineer..another problem is everyone is becoming data engineer and learning AI..really do u think everyone will get job ...india ab upskilling k naam pe C kaata ja raha hai sabka..wen out of 10 only 2 are needed how everyone will get the job ..it is trying for something impossible which many wont get...hope future generation show less interested in engineering else current ppl in IT are doomed...

IT industry is fucked. Better to purse medicine or other careers. It is difficult for AI to influence medical profession.

It is greed, i just quit my job ,everything was being posed as urgency, ETAs and Deadlines started creating panic attacks.
I think it may not be universal, some smaller india based service providing companies might be doing that.
Current job market is just like share market based upon fear and anxiety, better is go slow, upskill in niche specific deep work ,it may take sometime but will make you stand apart.
Also they are not paying so it is not worth to lose your peace and health for pennies.
Just don't loose health for job you people will get another job

Same story everywhere.. 6 months of work is being expected in 4 months or less.. Headcount increase will now go through multiple approvals.. unless needed, they won't do!!

I step down from my current company just because of this work pressure, but seems like my new org has similar things. All are asking me to join early and they are ready to pay a bit high for the same and one of company is ready to release 2 offer letter. under one letter I’ll be joining after my lwd and in another one I have to join meetings and kt from 4th May as a consultant against which I’ll get per hour wise incentives

These service companies getting huge commission for employees which is affecting our work culture and quality.
I don't know why there's no effective system in place where commission is less and employees get more.
