Hi all - I'm looking for help defining our rating scale in terms of our company values. We rate on a 5-point scale of Unsatisfactory to Exceptional Performance. We rate against four company values and five competencies. It was easy to define the rating scale against the competencies, but I'm having a really hard time defining them for the values. I've tried Googling and everything I find is geared more toward competencies. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hello! I’m looking for study materials for the PHR. Does anyone have recommendations for cost effective resources or perhaps willing to part with your study materials?

I’ve been in my current position (Bookkeeper) for 4 years now. I’m highly interested in taking the PHR, and I’m wondering if I would qualify for the 4 year HR professional job requirement to be eligible to test for the certificate. I work for a small business, therefore I do all the on boarding paperwork/payroll. Any advice is appreciated.

I’ve learned my boss is moving on to new opportunities, and there isn’t any plan to refill their role, which will leave me as an HR team of one. I don’t have the experience to fully take on all the work, but plan to give it my all.

Does anyone have HR training recommendations or tools that could be a great resource?

Is severance negotiable or is there some type of policy that dictates how much a company can pay out (eg maxes out at two months salary). A friend was just a casualty of a RIF.

What sales jobs make 500K to +1 million a year?

in a high paying sales job where i could do nothing and make 240k total comp or work my ass off and get capped at ~300k total comp, after taxes doesnt seem worth it. i have zero motivation to work yet zero motivation to leave. doesn’t seem right

Looking at Saas sales for supply chain/planning software as an account exec. Base is low so I’d have to bank on commissions. Anyone in a similar role concerned about hitting targets with looming recession and possibility of low conversion?

For those of you who are SHRM CP certified. Can you please advise if the SHRM learning system is worth it? Are there other effective learning tools that are less expensive ?

I am looking to take the 2022 shrm-cp and have the 2021 shrm learning system. Does one year matter for studying? Any experience using old material and passing/failing?

I work in inside sales selling data center hardware to commercial customers. I have the opportunity to take a new field sales role (w/ same company) selling DC equipment to federal government customers. My concern is that I will be stuck in the Federal space and it will be difficult/impossible to ever pivot back to selling in the commercial space. My longterm vision is to go to sales/sales management at a startup. Think this new role helps, hurts, or makes no diff?

No change in diet/exercise, but have accumulated multiple cuts - including deep cuts - on hands that have not healed (whether due to nutrient deficiencies or stretching of skin from all the handwashing). As natural healing will not occur without action, what are some measures I can take and specific products (moisturizers are not enough) I can apply to expedite this healing process? My DOJ at ey gds is 26th Oct. In the offer letter it was stated that i can work remotely until I'm asked to join the office. But within the offer letter itself they have provided info regarding reallocation reimbursement.
