I wonder if anyone else sees how much cognitive dissonance is required to live under capitalism in the western world? It's hard to believe in democracy when the economic political engine is a top down hierarchy of oligarchs.

It's no secret we're taught to avoid even thinking about the words Socialism and Communism, but the reason is only because they are antithetical to Capitalism and Imperialism.
