I am a data hoarder with ~8-10 Terrabytes of data spread over multiple old hard discs and laptops (all of them being atleast 5-6 years old). The HDDs and laptops are sitting idle for a long while. Should I be afraid of "bit rot" and what can I do to prevent it ?

One of my senior managers is a boomerang and told me she was laid off when she was 7 months pregnant about 10 years ago. I think she was a senior or manager. She was in a specific group and everybody was laid off. It wasn’t performance based.

I need valuable suggestions from you all! I want to migrate to Canada and settle the after getting a PR. I am an associate looking for masters degree in analytics or management field. Budget is limited but can extend it till 35L INR. Tam only considering courses with duration of atleast 16 months so that I get PGWP (Work Permit) of 3 years which would improve my chances of PR.

Need some guidance from Zs associates fishes, one of my friend has got offer there at C level with good gross with 15% variable but no ELRP, but another one of my friend has a AC offer with slightly less base but ELRP, how does this work p? What additional benefit do C get to counter ELRP?
