One group I keep seeing mentioned (and I’ve personally been testing out) is Citigroup Trading. It’s fast-paced but beginner-friendly, with solid breakdowns and clear signals. Honestly, it’s one of the few setups where I’ve seen both newer and experienced traders actually making consistent profit.

Might be worth checking out if you’re looking for something more structured but still flexible. Especially now, when every smart move counts.

Is taking the bus to work as convenient as taking the tube? Thinking of getting a place that by bus has a lesser commute than train but worried about traffic, frequency, etc. of the bus. Basically 20 mins bus vs 27 mins tube? Thanks!

Mid-level when she's leading the call: please make sure you take notes. It's expected of the person not leading a call (note I always take notes)

Me(jr): asked to lead a call for a different deal as training. Mid-level doesn't take notes (also on call) and tells me it's the job if the junior to take notes.

Any really impactful books that have helped you career-wise? Not necessarily consulting focused. In need of guidance and a new book so figured I'd kill two birds with one stone or whatever.

Consultant here at a small boutique consulting firm (first job out of college, recently promoted from Analyst role). What’s the process like in terms of transitioning to a product manager role, preferably at a big tech company, without any prior experience? How much are certain factors weighed in the application process (networking, personal portfolio, CS background, undergrad GPA, etc.)? What should I be focusing on doing right now if I give myself 1 year to prepare?
