Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

I agree with your sentiments. But I guess the reality of it is that a lot of people get many of their first impressions now on the small device they always carry. And perhaps only later do they look at something as we'd like them to see it. In the end we are like any other product, if we don't sell on the phone, we likely do not sell at all.
Do they when it comes to hiring though? I hire frequently and I almost never look at peoples books on my phone.
Squarespace has a breakdown of visitors. Most look on desktop thankfully. Mine is optimized for both but I can’t imagine people giving it their full attention if they’re reviewing my work on their phone while they’re on the subway.
No. Maybe I should but I don’t and I’d be surprised if it has lost me any gigs I’d actually want.
I haven't, but I just came to that realization myself-- the last 5 times I've just showed someone my book, it's been on my phone.
Luckily it hasn't been too bad, but there are a couple of things I should adjust.
I built my site on Squarespace and it was easy to optimize for both.
Yep same here. I think using a platform that gives you this ease of functionality is worth the cost, etc. I think Cargo might offer the same sort of thing too, if you don't like Squarespace
Wow, never once considered this. I would like to think if somebody really was only looking at it on their phone, they would give some grace if it came across as not the nicest presentation. I’ve looked through how to optimize, but never once considered that as a variable.
Why does that feel fucked? Most of the work we do is consumed on a smartphone anyway. From video to digital to social…
