I bet it’s strictly for PR but won’t actually lead to anything. If I eventually see people updating their LinkedIn that they’re working at Vagner then I’ll be happy to be wrong. But I bet it’s just another feel good but meaningless post among the hundreds he churns out.

Lovely sentiment, but Gary’s agency (recruiter, not Gary himself) contacted me, liked my work a lot, then rejected me for not having enough of an online presence. They said I “wouldn’t fit in here” since I don’t have a personal hobby blog or instagram with lots of followers, whereas all of their employees did. Their actual words. Gary talks about inclusivity and being against age discrimination, but that’s just PR. He doesn’t follow it up with action.

Only get a MacBook if you already have a windows pc, citrix workspace works best on a windows. In mac you cannot use shortcuts like Alt+tab inside the VDI. So choose wisely
