To the sales directors here… What are your key responsibilities in your role?

I am quickly getting piled on with more/different work, and I’m curious if this is in line with others. Just this week, I’ve had the below added to my plate:
• Reviewing & revising our Terms and Conditions for all agreements (I am not a lawyer).
• Receiving redlines from my team & having to provide feedback. (Again, not a lawyer).

Applied for a role as a director of sales with a medical company and got past initial screening and interviewed quite well with VP of sales. He stated he will tell recruiter to reach out and set up 2nd interview. Although within holiday week they stated they're looking to fill void asap. Has been over a week and still no email/phone call follow up by company recruiter. Kind of a cause of concern some might say a lil unprofessional to not hear any communication whether nay of yay.

How does MQM rollover work if you hit Diamond on segments. Do segments roll over like miles would? Are the miles lost?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.

Who’s got book recommendations? No lame “business guru” books that repeat the same principle over and over again.

I am fairly new to sales (3 years), and I just closed a deal that will pay out twice what I made all of last year ($75k vs $150k).
