You’re mostly going against traffic but it’ll still be looking at probably 35-40 minutes to Frisco. Frisco is the bomb dot com though but pricey. Flower mound is older and WAAAAY out of the way. There isn’t really a highway that goes there. It’s very sleepy and kind of dated. Coppell has great schools but is kind of... private? Also look at Las Colinas, Southlake, and Trophy Club.
Probably a 45min+ commute...our office is in Las Colinas and often heard complaints about hour+ from those in Frisco. I was in Addison at one point and moved primarily due to the commute.
I’d take a look at Las Colinas, Southlake, Coppell, Colleyville and Trophy Club.
JP Morgan, Boeing, Fidelity is down the road, PGA... tons of companies.
Coppell has great schools if you’re looking to drive less :)
Thx, looking for a bigger house and didn’t see much options in Coppell.
Coppell itself is an awesome place and better then Frisco by far
Hello not to derail your thread but I am a college student and am applying for a job opportunity in Dallas. The office is in Plano. Is this a good location for someone who will be 22? I’m from IL. My impression was that Austin was a little more youth-oriented.
Try to set yourself up close to the highway called 75. Tons of college kids and older go out in uptown or off of Knox-Henderson. DFW is way bigger than Austin. If you can’t find a niche here, then you’re not trying. Austin has like three streets you can hang out on and two of them are swarmed by tourists.
