For those who have passed the CIPM exam, what is it like (and how does it compare to the CIPP/US exam)?
For those in AM: thoughts on CAIA, CIPM, etc?? I was wondering if these will actually help vs. just waste of money.
Looking to specialize in privacy and was considering getting the CIPP/CIPM/CIPT. I already have my CISSP and CISA. Is it worth it?
Just lateraled and looks like I’ll be taking on a sizeable privacy practice from an associate who left recently. Any benefit to CIPP and CIPM training/certification as a lawyer? In DC if that matters.
OTS is growing rapidly and leadership has asked us SMs to assist with recruiting. One of our needs is for cybersecurity and data privacy consultants interested in M&A e.g. CISSP, CISA, CIPP, CIPM, etc
Question: which privacy & data protection cert has highest return and value to your career (CIPM, CIPT, CIPP, CDPSE, DLP tool cert)?
Which privacy cert would you go for, CIPM or CIPT? Debating which I should test for, since I have competency in both. Which has better ROI for career, or in greater demand in industry?
Privacy fish - Anyone taken the CIPM and can share what the exam is like? Content outline seems like application of standard consulting approach, so how do they test it on an exam?
Planning to take the CIPP and CIPM. Will be doing self-study. What is the “book” everyone refers to for studying? Is it just the “study guide” the IAPP sells? Does anyone know if the study guides and sample questions you can buy on amazon are sufficient to use for passing? Appreciate any and all advice.
Just joined Accenture and went through day 1 onboarding. They mentioned I gotta use the corporate Amex but I've heard of people using their personal cards for booking travel/hotels. Is that "allowed"?
I have a phone interview with Amazon Accounting. In the email from the recruiter, it asked about total compensation expectations (including base, bonus, stock). Any insight on the range? Anyone with experience with the phone interview? For background, I’m a M2 within accounting advisory.
Just want to say "thank you" to Delta for upgrading my whole family to 1st on an international trip. Spouse and child have never been in first.

How do i break the news to the other Seniors while leaving the door open for future ops (enjoyed all the conversations)?

Is it worth speaking to HR if you keep getting passed up for promotion for the past year and a half (will be 2 in October) even if all your feedback is amazing and explicitly mentions from multiple ppl that you're ready for the promotion? (Assuming you can't leave due to other circumstances)

Brisbane hotels - Hilton or Sofitel?
I’ve had one interview at a company setup through a recruiter. The first interview the hiring manager said that they were posting the job on their website that day to ‘cast a wider net to get the best talent’. Immediately after the interview he told the recruiter he wanted to bring me onsite in 2 weeks. So I’m in the final round tomorrow, but now today two other recruiters contacted me about what seemed to be this job. Cont..
Just wrapped up a 10 day vacation - didn’t go too overboard on food and stayed pretty active but drank almost every day (not normal for me). Could this be why I’m so bloated and feeling large?
Any major market comp benchmarks for Dinsmore?
Not pregnant yet but curious how pregnancy impacts performance, if at all. If all goes to plan I’ll have my first trimester over busy season. Curious how that goes and if any slack is given if pregnancy symptoms are bad
Sooo... Living a fine life. Make good salary, have a nice apartment and stuff. Somehow, I mean, being by now a mid thirty female I feel like I have failed (at least regarding this point, don't know how to proceed? (I mean, I am a 34yr old, successful person, but even though I managed having good relationships until I turned 30, by now I just seriously feel old.) Colleagues have either met their match years ago or are incompetent of relationships
What is the possibility on jumping from a mid-tier firm to a big 4 for a senior role (consulting or audit) but without public client experience? (I am a audit senior with 4.5 YOE, just the title here never got updated.)
