BCG Platinion Boston Consulting Group Have a senior data engineer coderpad interview coming up with BCG Platinion within the next two days.wanted tk understand how BCG Platinion is different from usual BCG consultants and is it worth going for the interview process? I read somewhere Platinion folks donot get the same comp and perks like BCG consultants and the work too is not that great..appreciate your inputs and thoughts fishes!

Dude, do your best to not specialize in risk & reg. At PwC (and other firms) the group is struggling with the market changes (decrease in consulting budget, "rationalization" initiatives, ...). I might be wrong, but think that risk® consulting will become smaller and smaller. Even though you might be able to survive on "rationalization projects" for the next couple of years, I don't think it will be an easy ride to partnership (as it was for the past decade or so).
If you're thinking about going to industry, 2nd and 3rd lines are the biggest targets for said rationalization projects, and you'll likely be on the receiving end...
