Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
Anyone take the CIPM recently? How was it?

today I choose violence

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

“ETL” is a very vague topic. Do you have any specific language in mind that you want to focus in (Python, SQL, R)? Platform wise there is classic Jupiter notebook, databricks or you can look up cloud specific tools. After those areas are defined you can look into YouTube, udemy they will probably be a good starting point.
I am more into sql.
Do you want to learn about ETL or want to get into specific tools and technology?
ETL or rather ELT nowadays, is more of a concept which can be achieved through so many ways.
First I would suggest to learn about different types of data , storage options suitable for each type which will lead you to different type of databases.
Then you dig in to find what are the ways to move data around.
There are so many options in the market, do you have some opportunity in mind?
