I was downsized by this company 6 years ago and had worked for them for 8 years prior. I am now in talks with them about another oppertunity but they do not want to let me start back with those 8 years. I looked up standard practice and according to the standards at the Society of Human Resources Management HR should give me my time back cause I was downsized (not fired for cause and I did not quit).
