It's a positive sign when a company requests a portfolio; it's often an indication of a robust PMO. As someone who has hired for PMO roles at various levels, I can share what I typically look for. Before the interview, I request to see a portfolio, which can be submitted to the recruiter either as a zip file or as a link to a Google Drive. This portfolio should include examples of your past work and outputs that you've created in your role as a project manager. These may encompass - but are not limited to - project management plans, project charters, Gantt charts, project status reports, risk registers, issue logs, and communication samples (e.g., meeting agendas and minutes). I also appreciate seeing process designs/maps, RACIs, SIPOCs, SOPs, SLAs, and retrospectives. Additionally, you should include a list of all PM tools with which you are most familiar, as well as any relevant PM training and certifications. It's imperative that these samples are sanitized to ensure no confidential information is shared. Moreover, you should be prepared to present and discuss the context surrounding your work products. If you're unable to discuss certain aspects due to confidentiality issues, you could be asked to talk through how you would approach a hypothetical situation or project.

I’ve kept a portfolio and it serves as a good reminder of all your projects and is a good tool to help the hiring team understand your experience. I used Canva!

I just put the brands or use Adobe Creative Suite. As a SPM I personally know people who revealed too much and the company not only didn’t hire them but used their workflows and process that was shared in the interview. I see it like dating if you’re over sharing why do they need to interview you? I rather breadcrumb and based on each interview stage you share more preferably from your screen on zoom.
