Thanks for the feedback! This is helpful. Do you have tracks for managerial and non-managerial roles?
I'm trying to diversify our opportunities and realize not everyone wants to be a people manager.
As a Pm who was just telling someone this week I love project management but I really don’t think I would want a managerial role, I really appreciate your post and what you’re doing!
Associate PM, PM, Senior PM, Associate Director, Director, VP and so on.
My agency has titles similar to PM1 but I will say I wish we had more specialized roles/options for folks.
I’m more of a “run a large, high profile project perfectly and manage clients well” sort of PM type vs a Program Director type that gets deep into finances, technical processes and churns out SOWs. Unfortunately I don’t have a ton of options but I REALLY wish I did!
Associate, Sr. Associate, PM, Sr. PM, Director, VP, SVP, EVP
I was thinking the same thing! Wow!
Associate PM, PM, group PM, associate director, Director, VP of operations
What training certificates should one have to get into this field ?
PMI-PMP is widely regarded. I’m taking my exam in 2 weeks and it’s not an easy exam. Well respected in certain industries while others could care less if you have it or not.
