Question: I worked 3 different jobs at one institution. Somewhere between, the institution revised it's name. Should I use the current name of the institution for all the jobs or keep the old name for the older jobs before the name change??? Actually the center I worked at for two of the jobs also changed names! Thanks!!!

Should I negotiate without any competing offers?

Company: Walmart Tech Labs
Location: Hoboken
Base: 150k
Bonus: 24k (16%)
RSU: 25k / year for 3 years

Offered TC: 180k
YOE: 3

I initially thought TC was 199k, but it’s actually 180k. Should I say something like “I was expecting 220. Is there anything you can do like a sign on bonus/raise base a bit to help get to 220?” To see if they can bump it up a bit?

I just don’t want to negotiate and get the offer rescinded.

Hey guys I’m new to fishbowl. I’m currently at a job where the is paying way below the cost of living for the area I live in. So it’s time to start updating my resume my question is jobs that I was at for less then a year do include them?

Does anyone know how to make their resume look more manager like? My resume shows:

- I have the skills and experience.
- I tailored it to the job description

The recruiter at a job fair yesterday said I'm a good fit, but to send her an email with edits to the resume to make it look more like a managers one because they have to sell applicants to higher ups and schedule an interview.

I can't wait too long to send it, so nervous as I'm picking at it trying to further change it.
