Nuuly is a lifesaver. Definitely invest in a few good staple items but I basically only wore rentals from Nuuly all through my 3rd trimester!

I had my headshot taken while about 20 weeks pregnant. I wore a non maternity stretchy shirt and a non maternity open front blazer, and the photographer photoshopped the stomach area to make it look like I wasn't pregnant (I just didn't want my photo for the next 10 years to depict me as if I was permanently pregnant). It came out pretty great.
Hatch and Gap for basic fillers. Abercrombie actually had great jeans (not work related just a sleeper fact).
Norma Kamali dresses are very stretchy and pregnancy friendly. I had a couple versions of the swing dress (in black and navy) and wore them with blazers to court and formal meetings through two pregnancies. I wore Vince dresses a lot too - just sized up later in pregnancy.

I just had a baby and bought lots of loose/stretchy items. They were cheaper because they didn’t get the markup most maternity items get and I can still wear them postpartum. I basically lived in dresses and stretchy blazers/sweaters. I regret buying the two pairs of maternity work pants I bought because I can’t use them anymore.
The struggle is real! Hatch suit pants, I got a few things from Seraphine but don’t love them. Still on the hunt.
Both Anne Klein and Chico’s make knit ponchos and ruanas that are sharp looking, and comfortable, but not specifically maternity, so you can wear them on cozy days after pregnancy. They’re just a bit looser cut, and you can pair them with a black shift dress or pants.
