I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). Question about inclusion…. Just got an offer to upgrade my Amex Gold to Platinum with a 100k point bonus (spend $6k in 6 months). Is this worth it to upgrade to platinum? Would you do it

You can probably get some points. Be aware that American tends to have mor delays than Delta so switching won’t help. It’s also a much suckier airline in general. At least 60%of my AA flights are delayed in a year
