Since layoffs in May, noticing significant amounts of high performing junior colleagues exiting to opportunities outside of EY. Is anyone else noticing/ experiencing the same?

In talks with a couple places and if the $$ is right I’m about to bounce! Icing on the cake was our cyber leader going on the layoff announcement call saying “well folks these things happen”. Plus I’m sick of encountering MDs that should be SMs and partners who have no basic technical chops that fumble sales opportunities constantly. This place needs to get it together.

That’s an interesting take on things. Not sure how much responsibility the cyber leader should take considering he didn’t get a vote in ending Everest or the decision to layoff people in service lines that would have been NewCo. I’m considering considering leaving as well but mainly because of the pipeline. Just doesn’t sit well to not promote any SMs to PP but bring in 3 or 4 new direct admit PPs.
