In terms of flexibility and benefits which is better to choose? Pls suggest

i have absconded one organization just after 2 days of joining and joined another org. I have even not received any salary from the old but they have opened my Pf account.
So currently my two pf accounts running though i am not receiving anything in my old account. Is that considered as moonlighting?

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to make the switch from staff accounting to an analysis role?

I have 7 years of accounting experience and I feel like I'm more than capable of doing analysis work but I also think I am being overlooked because of my background.

What is the long term earning potential for a small firm probate/estate planning attorney? I.e. even as a 10-20 year attorney, are you still making under $150k? I’m considering a switch and know the initial paycut will hurt, but I’m curious how much of that money I will pick back up long term.

BCW, what’s your hiring process look like over there? Is hiring an internal priority right now? Seems unusually slow, especially in this talent market. I was approached by someone there more than two months ago, and it took almost 3 weeks for them to set up a first meeting, then another month to get to round two and it’s been a a few weeks now trying to get the next round scheduled. BTW, I am highly qualified for the role they reached out to me for. Was super interested, but this is a turn-off.

Supervisor said I couldn’t have week off for vacation this summer bc another coworker of higher seniority asked off the same week and two people can’t go on vacation at the same time because of staffing. But this coworker that asked off works different shift than me? He works 1st shift I work second. We have a total of 8 workers and no more than 4 work a day. can easily be covered. This has never been a problem until this year (we got a new supervisor). we’re used to being short staffed anyway

I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that. I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA.
