So I started this job a few weeks ago and they handed me a number of processes and The most important one of resetting laptops was not a true reflection of reality I was stuck for 2 weeks unable to complete one because they never tested out the process or verified the documentation was accurate is this normal in an IT department ? Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.
