I really liked Elvie pump.
It's not the only pump on the market with a connected app (you're able to wear the pumps until you're ready to extract milk, change up the speed and intensity of the pump, track the amount of milk pumped, etc.), but it is, I still believe, the quietest pump on the market.
It just gave me peace of mind going out shopping, or being in an elevator, surrounded by people, and not having a worry that everyone around me could hear the machines strapped to my chest while out and about. It just didn't derail my stride, and allowed me to keep on pump schedule without having to toss the towel in on my agenda for the day.
If I knew that I would be past 4 hours after pumping, I would just remove the containers with the pumped milk (when I could) and stick them in the ice pack/cooler section of this cute, portable, breast pump carrier I got.
I kept additional Elvie containers in the top section of the carrier on hand, in the case I'd need to pump again, store, etc.
I just didn't have to inconveniently pour any of the pumped milk into any other separate container(s) to stay cool (since the Elvie containers are self-contained), or wash anything.
Other than privately finding a space to place, or remove the pumps, it was literally just pickup and go 🙌🏽
This is so helpful, thank you!!
I love my Eufy S1. I get the same output as my Spectra and can be controlled with an app. But it’s definitely not discreet (don’t think any of them actually are)
When I go back to work I plan to use the momcozy chiller but haven’t used it yet on leave - either home with fridge, bringing fresh milk to be consumed within a couple hours or use a regular cooler bag
Used the Medela Freestyle and loved it. I used to pump, dump the milk in storage bags and then put it into a refrigerator/cold storage bag with an extra ice pack in it. Would keep it cold for hours.
The Elvie was the most discreet one I tried, but the app was useless to me. I loved the Eufy S1 Pro. Heated flanges and a charging case? Sold. That app was useless to me too, though. lol
As someone mentioned. With extra Elvie cups they have lids so you don’t have transfer milk, which is def a big pro if you have a refrigerator or potable cooler available, but any insulated bottle is fine to store milk. I have a Ceres Chill which is dual chambered so it can separately hold ice. I think there are a lot of other similar options now.
I think my favorite pump combo though was my Pumpables Genie Advanced with Medela wearable cups. Not as discreet, but the Medela cups worked very well for me and the cups are larger capacity than most. I loved my genie because I could use whatever flanges/wearable cups I wanted and the speed and rhythm just worked well for me
