The moment someone admits they’re struggling, it’s used against them later. Lower ratings. Fewer opportunities. How do you protect yourself in environments that weaponize honesty?

Coming up with a solution is the best chance. I’ve known many who have honestly expressed their struggles, but with no solution for how to make it better. That labels them as a complainer, which isn’t fair, but in a bad place, nothing is.

The best way to protect myself that I have found is by keeping any of my concerns to myself. Most employers know when their workplace is toxic, they just don't care. Pointing it out to them will rarely benefit you, but will very often come with drawbacks. I look for healthy coping mechanisms rather than trying to change the workplace.

Very diff to handle such situations

This is so true. I think definitely write down the situations that caused all of these and then say how you’d fix them in meetings really helps.

Hi Everyone,
I need your views and suggestions. I have two doubts:
1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.

I just got promoted. I also just got a job offer. A job offer at an agency I’ve dreamed at working at for years. No real growth in the promotion, just a fancy title but I’ve only been here a year. 😣

I have a 7 year of experience in Service based IT Company. Is preparing for Maang good ? What roles and expectations should I be having?
