New is fun and exciting and a huge dopamine hit to your brains reward system. I dont think it’s a bad thing necessarily unless it’s putting you in dangerous situations lol. I have always been a what’s next kind of person and dealing with the depression of hitting a high point, whether it’s accomplishing a major goal or end of a season and not feeling fulfilled from it like I thought I would. I have started practicing gratitude for what I have already and living in the moment more because I have found I have a fear of stagnation and it was holding me back from developing real meaningful relationships and stability in my life.
