Thoughts on the Chopard Alpine Eagle XPS?
Think it looks amazing as an obtainable alternative to a Royal Oak or Nautilus. Just wish they had additional dial colors

It’s surprisingly very good in person.

Ooo this is a pretty nice view!
I liked them until I noticed the use of two different hour markers. Roman numerals for 3-9-12 and sticks for the rest seems odd visually
California dials actually have some symmetry to them so I actually do like them

I think these are really great if they fit your wrist. The proprietary steel that they use is also a really nice touch.

Check out the GP Laureato - I actually prefer that over this Chopard

I get the movement, but I just cant get over the bracelet. It just doesn’t look right to me

I’m not a fan of the design of the Alpine Eagle.

Super underrated watch!

They are beautiful. I've wanted one for a while but for some reason it doesn't quite fit my wrist correctly. Try it on and if it works for you, get it! Hands down my favorite looking watch on the market right now
What kind of movement do they use?
And to add on, only this particular XPS model with salmon colored dial has this movement.
The standard non-XPS models have a different movement. Still extremely nice but not quite as recognized as the 1.96
Would love to try one on! Unfortunately I’m in a city that doesn’t have a Chopard boutique.
We have a few AD’s but haven’t checked if they carry them or not.

Super underrated which means you can probably find a good deal on it.
There are great deals on the regular Alpine Eagle, like 30% of retail but there seem to be very few of the XPS with this movement available.
I haven’t seen it for less than retail so far. Hoping for it to drop in the next few months

If I was looking for this sort of thing I’d also check out the Piaget Polo. Not wild for the Nautilus myself. Also for steel sports I really rate the JLC Polaris line (have the chrono on bracelet and would not swap it for a Daytona)
Also awesome watches! Have looked into those quite a bit. I have a GMT master II that feels like it would be similar to the Polaris.
Absolute beauty
I personally cant get over the bracelet… not my style there. I too prefer the Laureato
These dials are lovely
