Thoughts on Uggs? I have never understood their appeal. I think they are so ugly and I can't understand how or why they have become so popular. What am I missing?

Super ugly. Yes. Then I bought a pair of slippers - ooo comfy. But wouldn’t wear outside my house.

Absolutely essential! Personally, I live in the northeast. It's freaking cold. Uggs are warm. But, they have to be with the right things... and clean, not stained, still stiff and upright.

I also have heel pain and they feel amazing on my feets

Big time for the kids/teens! Especially the Tasman slippers

Love the slippers for house wear

Agreed. There are much cuter boots out there for the same price.

They are SUPER ugly, but make for comfy slippers.

They are made for cold weather and if you treat them right last for 8-10 years. I’ve been wearing uggs since I was 15 and will always have a pair just because of the quality and warmth. I don’t dip into the trends, I think the Tasman’s look like house shoes but they are in right now.

+1 on them being super warm house slippers

Never understood them either but now commuting in Chicago winter for the first time I got a pair and my feet are way warmer when I don’t need full on snow boots

About to buy my first car, am I making a mistake? It's 2019 Corolla for 25K CAD (18K USD) all in. 45K kilometres (28K miles). I have 75K saved and earn 100K a year. It just feels too expensive, but it's hard to find something decent for less. Thoughts appreciated!

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.

I'm wondering what the pay is for someone in my position without certification. I live with family and want to afford to move out but I am single and only make $18/hr. Is that standard or am I being underpaid?
