Currently a L62 at Microsoft as a PM, which is the post MBA level (I have 3 YOE). I have a desire to try out VC investing or ops, and an MBA might open up my doors. However, I’d be giving up a massive opportunity cost (in those 2 years I’d probably make senior pm at msft) and don’t need an MBA for lateral big tech moves. Don’t want to get an MBA and strike out at VC

I am terribly underpaid in my current org at 5.5 LPA after a recent promotion and annual appraisal. Another mid size consulting firm offered me 7.5 LPA but I am asking them around 9 LPA.
Am I asking too much or shall I take the offer of 7.5 LPA
