Took a mental health break during the summer, to re-charge my batteries and continue my job-hunt.
I keep seeing so many “ghost”positions, same listings I looked at before my break or 100+ applications.
I’m on day 665 of unemployment and have max 2 months of rent until my Visa maxes out.

Hey guys, I’m a freelance broadcast producer and I’ve spent most of my career working for larger agencies. I’m doing something for a smaller agency and they want the production company to hide costs in their bid and then have production bill the client the inflated amount directly and pay the hidden costs to the agency. The agency is calling it a “consultation fee” but client just thinks production costs more. Is that common and I just haven’t experienced it before? Or is this a big red flag?
