Is selling feet pics an unethical side hustle?
Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

Same. I’m now 32. I left the law last year but 4 months into my sabbatical decided to do a temp in-house gig just to see what it was like. So not working was obviously amazing, but in house is great so far (I don’t come from big law, but I was in private practice/billable hour world). I know how cliche it is…but life’s just too short. Eventually, I plan to leave the law altogether and do something with animals or creative adjacent.
No. Your 30s and 40s are your professional and/or child rearing prime. Both are a lot of work. This is a time for building and growth. The idea that you feel the urge at 31 to slow down is verging on laughable.

Yep-began feeling that way around 33. . . then waited another five years to do something about it! After more than 10 years in private practice, I am finally transitioning to an extremely laidback inhouse role in June. Good for you for actually listening to your body before you run it into the ground. Like most life lessons, I learned that one the hard way. Lol
I think freeing up time to focus on things other than work/earning income is a trusted path. At this stage, time is more valuable to me than the additional money I'd earn from the endless grind.

Turning 30 soon and same. Complete 180 from what I’ve felt all my life so a little startling to have this realization tbh
Went in house the day before I turned 31 this year. It’s 100% worth it, I don’t have a single regret. Hope to inspire my friends to do the same because life is too short per AA1.
I have summer Fridays and very fixed hours (read less flexibility) but never going past 5:30PM. I chat with colleagues guilt free and we take walks during lunch. It’s a bit hard to quantify but I’d say that effective billable hours would be comparable to 1400.
Felt this when I turned 33 this year. I’m single/no kids. I have enough down payment for a house, emergency fund, and I’ve generally gotten all the material things I want from working in big law.
I’m in my (hopefully) last round of interview for an in house position for a fortune 50 company.

Very reasonable. See if you can get the waters for a reduced hours agreement, although they can have limited value in certain groups/firms.
