Oh my God, NO, you are not rotten or awful!!!!!! We all feel like that - lol. Some kids are just so challenging, I count the days until they are out of my class. Others are so amazing, I get emotional when they move on. It's just the reality of teaching.

Nope, you are perfectly human! Not all children are easy to love. You do your best, and that is all anyone can do!
You’re not awful! You’re truthful! I feel the same way!
No, you are perfectly normal. I understand your situation…I taught (now retired) sixth grade Literature. It’s sad to see the great ones move on, but you jump for joy when the “turds” leave. One year I almost had a shirt made…”I survived (fill in name)” but thought better of it!
Why do you lose students after quarter 3? Do you teach electives that are quarter courses?
We “semesterize” so after second quarter in one class I only kept 7 students & had 28 new ones, but I’ll have them until June. I 100% rejoiced, and even counted down the days, that I was losing about 10 of my first semester kiddos.
We had quarter elective courses for one period back when I was in 7th & 8th grade. It was a great introduction to electives that I otherwise never would have taken.
