Any recommendations on prep courses for CFP exam? Taking the exam in March

Manager with a big 4 and finally have enough liquid cash to make some meaningful market investments. I am admittedly a newbie to trading and honestly don’t have a lot of interest in self-managing but would like a brokerage and/or CFP guided account (that understands/can accommodate independence requirements).

Any recommendations on brokerage or service to get started? Looking at Vanguard Personal Advisor service at the moment… Thanks for any advise

Why is it that most people recommend to max Roth IRA before Roth 401(k) (beyond the match)? Since expense ratios in a 401(k) are so low I would think Roth IRA should only come after $19,500 is in 401k

What roles in smaller startups do strategy consultants usually get? Seems like they mostly hire engineering roles, and the only option would be a specific functional group (e.g. finance) rather than a “strategy” role?

I got offered a job as an internal wholesaler at Lord Abbett and market support analyst at Blackrock. Blackrock pays more but it’s an assistant role. Lord Abbett says I can move to external wholesaler but it’s a smaller co and less upward mobility if I don’t get that role. Any reason I should take one over the other?

So, I am a high performer and had to cover for two very senior roles for many months due to quick high turnover. We already had our talks. I found it funny when I was told, “oh and by the way… as you can see we increased your bonus to thank you for covering for so and so.” $500 increase………. Am I silly to think this “thank you” increase is a joke? No salary increase and only $500 thank you for covering for two additional jobs. Am I unreasonable to think the work I covered for wasn’t appreciated?
