What sort of difficulties or obstacles do you face with being in Sonography?

Currently, finishing up my HSA degree and thinking of going back to school to study Sonography.

Also, what path to Sonography would you recommend? Certificate (1yr), 2 Year or 4 year? Is there a different in pay?
