I just reminisce on the days when you saw the sneaker you wanted, the biggest challenge was getting to the store not 🤖 and resellers. I’ll try for these and take my “L” for the culture.

It’s been around for some quite time but only in recent years has it taken off to another level. Like seeing Moncler collab with big names like Hiroshi Fujiwara (Fragment/grandfather of streetwear) is not something I would have imagined only a few years ago.

Not to mention Ronnie Fieg and his endless parade of collabs.

High fashion has always looked to the street for influence. It’s just become more hyped up since the internet. There are some cool collabs but there are some god awful ones too, that I have no idea why Hypebeasts would want to go after and spend stupid money on.
