Earning enough money to not have to budget like crazy and use up all my spare time on freelance work and side hustles. In short, some degree of financial security. At this point, that's really all I care about. I don't need to be passionate about my job. I'll do the most soul draining work imaginable so long as it pays me well.
There was a point where I did this when I started out as a designer. Left school for a semester and did design work for government sales company until I was stable. Sometimes you just need to do what pays the bills.
Making enough money where I don’t second guess my decision to drown in debt in my early career with the promise of better earning potential down the line. Right now salary progression has looked aggressively breakeven
