Does anyone feel burned out from healthcare from this past year? I straddle tech trans and do procurement/manage the research department of a health system. Is it just me or do health systems compensate less? If I'm going to have to work long hours - I might as well get paid more going the private sector/tech company route.

Look for new opportunities within holding company or outside? Any appreciable differences? Or is the “action” at the agency level? I’ve heard a lot of talk ... but is it valid?

I’m looking to move out of CA (I’m in LA) to another western/central state that has comparable’ish weather, diversity, music/art/active culture, and a nice 3 bed house is $500-600k or less.
