I’ve had radio silence from a small investment bank for about a week now. I’ve completed several rounds of interviews, but last Thursday the firm reposted the job I’ve been interviewing for. On Friday the headhunter said that they’re not sourcing new candidates and it’s probably just LinkedIn automatically refreshing the listing. She said they had a busy week last week but will make a final decision this week - is the delay and radio silence a bad sign or is this typical for experienced hiring?

Hey guys! Currently in WM ops at Morgan Stanley for the past 1 year dealing with alternative lending, I’m super underpaid with 3 years of experience which is very frustrating. (73k). Have been at Morgan for 1 year and looking to come over to JPM for an ideal pay bump, but would like to get into IB type roll. Any insight on what I should expect or how to go about applying? Maybe even getting referred? I have a deep knowledge of investments and always felt inclined to go down this route.

Hi Fishes, I need your help. I am in negotiation phase with an MBB firm. I am happy in my current firm in terms of work but I am quite underpaid (13L) given my experience of 6 years(Non MBA). This is after a raise and promotion in October. Will it be ethical to produce my offer in front of my current firm and ask for match if they offer me one or it's best to walk away?

Can someone pls tell me what's wrong with the HR these days. At the time of interview they agree to your expecting compensation and after you clear the interview and submit all the documents, they give wierd reasons for negotiations and stresses you out.
Like what is wrong with them, so illogical reasons to negotiate with your compensation.

Whats the difference between KPMG India vs KPMG Global Services (KGS)? I couldn't find much answers in Internet except KGS handles backend work. Also there are many negative reviews about KPMG global services in India does it applicable for Technology side as well? And is there any difference in payscale and benefits between these two? I have usually seen people taking sick leaves when workload is more and there is more responsibility coming in team. But I always hesitate to ask for leaves, I feel I'm doing something wrong. At the same time I'm exhausted with work and feel like I should be taking 1-2 leaves per month. Even in new organization it's been 4 months, I have not taken even a single leave.

How to deal with these thoughts? It looks like job is taking control over my mind and health.
