Is it okay to take couple days off when switching jobs on h1b? Planning to take ~7-10 days off before I join new firm. And also planning to go out of country during that time. Would that be an issue?

Just received an offer I’m pretty excited about. On H1B with an approved I140 (since 2017). Planning to start at the new company by end of July. Any best practices to keep in mind? Specifically on what to communicate with /ask from the new organization (they are open to transferring), when is it safe to resign from Deloitte, anything around the gc process with the new firm etc.? Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.
How am I supposed to give notice to my current employer without knowing BGC status ?
Please advise if someone faced this situation.
(P.S. I don’t have any record, just being cautious because I am on H1B/work visa)

Hi folks, has anyone paid any company to file H1B for them? I got a call from a company called Cyber Chasse. Post an initial screening call, if selected we have to pay 708 usd (non-refundable) for H1B registration. Once we get the visa, processing fee of 5500 + 18% GST USD.

Is this legit? Or the chances are so low that I should not go for it?

Ok. I am teaching music in person and when we have a case of COVID in the school, I push into the classroom for 10 days. Are there music websites that are free that I can go to for quick lessons when I’m asked to teach in the classroom. I was told today with 5 minutes to prepare that we had a case, I couldn’t teach in my room and I couldn’t do the ukulele unit I had planned.
