I am about to receive an offer from EY GDS for a role of a Business Analyst_Banking finance (Principal Consultant) with a CTC of 27 LPA (inclusive of 10% variable).

I am having 10.5 YOE. Is this grade relevant which they have offered, taking my YoE into account? How much i can negotiate upto in CTC front? I mean the highest slab of Principal consultant?

Basics:
Legal assistant for 20 years (I’m under 40yrs old). I’ve been at my current company (big law) for almost 5 years. Just had my review and I was placed in the top tier category in the review process. However, my raise was 3.1%. Last year it was slightly less. I can’t tell if I’m being salty by thinking this is low or if being taken advantage of.

A serious question and need your help. I rented a parking spot from someone and it was agreed that there would be no car that would be parked in my spot. We have a signed agreement as well. How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? My friend is in his first job out of college at a tech company. He started 3 months ago and is in a very toxic environment as well as has to commute/be in the office everyday. His title is “Inside sales” and his pay is very low(no commission), he does tons of work and is expected to stay late (no overtime) on top of the 8:30-5:30.

Needing advise. I have been at my new company for 3 months and I hate it. So much to hate too much to type up. So I’ve been applying around and I actually got an interview for my dream position today. How do I explain this current situation? I heard it’s not good to bash other companies but I genuinely do not know how to explain why I want to leave without my current company getting bashed. I am not sure what to do. My company just had another round of massive layoffs. So far my job was spared. I do got a job offer from a different company but the salary is way lower than what I have now (20,000$ less). So guys I gave an interview for an analyst (Lead) in Enterprise Data & Analytics unit at a wealth management firm.

The interview was largely focussed on my current assignments and my experience working in past projects.

There were 5 people panelist and out of that 3 turned up for interview. Out of that one panelist kept quite although he was prompted to ask questions and he refused.Also, the other interviewer was Mr. KIA. What do you think about the culture? Any thoughts, is it worth pursuing?
