I just got laid off from my job as a gov contractor because the project I was working on ended. I’m currently a grad student part time and was hoping to work that job until finishing grad school before applying to consulting roles. If you notice that a junior associate on your team has over-billed, how would you handle it? I don’t want to get them in trouble, but noticed that they billed extremely high numbers even though I was doing all they work on the deal and they completely disappeared other than for client conference calls. Recently I had interview with tcs . During hr dicuession the hr person offered me 7.5lpa currently my CTC is 5lpa with wipro. Then later on we agreed to 8lpa during dicuession. So he told he will dicuess with senior level for approval for 8lpa then he release a sample ctc break up and asked me to accept it and he told he will release final offer after higher level discussion. I agreed for that. After two day he called me and offer only 6.8lpa. Why he changed this any idea? I declined.Surprising hr behaviour?

So, i put in my resignation and my manager calls me up. He says that he hired me during a bad time, i.e. during COVID pandemic last year, but it feels to him that when I felt convenient i am packing my bags and leaving. I have my thoughts to it, but do you also feel that I am leaving when it's convinient for me?!

TCS ghosted me. I cleared 2 rounds of interview and they asked me to update the documents. They are in verified status since 2 weeks. Since then I heard nothing from them. The salary negotiation has not happened yet. I called the HR and got the response like they will get back in a few days.
Anyone knows when will they get back??
