Yes it is pretty said when 8th graders are bringing their 3D printed snakes and dragons, as well as their stuffed animals because they "Need" them

It's amazing the things kids can do-because the NEED. Nowadays it seems like the more bazaar is better.

For me it's, don't send things that kids will lose or destroy. Like pictures, small jewelry, or small toys/ toys with small pieces .It's so frustrating telling kids not to lose or destroy things all day!
No kidding! I don't understand why things that are sentimental or important get sent with kids.

I wish that parents would:
1. Teach their children to accept “no” as an answer. Some things are not up for negotiation.
2. Teach their children to respond to their name being called instead of allowing them to ignore people when someone is talking to them.
3. Teach their children that sometimes, you may not want to do something, but we have to do it anyway- and it is ok to not like it, but it is not ok to react with rude, aggressive behavior.

I agree 💯%
Label their things! Half the families don’t and then when there’s a missing item and I send a photo asking if they recognize it, oftentimes a few will say it’s theirs (it can’t be all of yours, so whose is it?) Many don’t realize that I’ve see the exact same water bottle/shirt/coat etc because there’s only so many varieties of and there are shopping at the same places

Yesterday, I had two boys arguing over a pencil pouch. "J" swore up and down his mom bought it for him, but "N" declared that it was his pouch and his pencils, and his mom had written his name on everything. Finally,I asked them to let me look at it-sure enough "N's" name was on everything! Thankfully! Their little argument was escalating very quickly, but the name calmed everything done pretty fast
