What is your opinion on candidates reach out to you on linkedin to express their interest in a job posting? Does that make you more interested and willing to give an interview? I've personally never reached out to a hiring manager directly, but wonder if it's worth a shot

Is there any realistic way where tipping in the US goes away and we start to be like other countries (e.g. Europe/Asia)? Raise the price of the food, pay servers a fair wage, no tips? Just a dream 😅

I'm guessing no because businesses will fight hard against this (customers subsidize wages) and certain servers benefit from tipping as well.

Only other thing I can think of is if everyone collectively decides not to ever tip again and it forces business to change. Won't happen though.

I returned back from Germany this year and now my current fixed CTC in India is 25 LPA and my in hand salary after deduction was 1.4 LPM, I was not sure what to opt in the Tax regime and selected new tax regime. Can someone shed some light how can I increase my in hand salary and reduce the tax. Also can I change my tax regime while filing Tax returns?

Requirement - relatively better work life balance / stable pay
YOE - 4.5 yrs
All offers are more or less equivalent in terms of compensation (though fixed & bonus are highest at Shell) - close to 27 LPA total CTC
