Recently took the McKinsey & Company game (not sure if I have an interview yet but preparing nonetheless). It’s an entry level business analyst position and an entry level digital position and was wondering if anyone wanted to case prep with me. I’m willing to work on anyones time zone. 2020 Topps Chrome and Bowman (not chrome). Then singles of baseball players I like to do well in the future. I think buying off-season makes sense.
I wanted to start looking at basketball next. Deandre Ayton is interesting. Former #1 pick and has a strong sidekick in Booker. Plus his cards aren’t crazy yet. Prizm Silver PSA 10 seems to be the currency of basketball cards
Panini Prizms seem to be the cards.
P1 - I’m slowly selling them at a rate of 1-2 a month, especially in the off season. Plan on keeping 2 psa 10’s and being out of the rest. I’m in them so cheap that I’m getting a psa 10 Jordan rookie from the sales
For a higher risk I have been buying up some UFC. It did climb last few months since I initially entered, but still think there is more growth there and lower entry point. WNBA Prizm made me over 100% return from preorder price I paid to delivery a few weeks ago as well which was unexpected.
For those two was nothing more than my gut feel that they had potential upside given crazy prices we are seeing in mainstream product. For true investments where I am making a calculated decision I mostly use Market Movers tool. You can do everything manually by analyzing sold data from sellthepeak or eBay sold listings but Market Movers makes it quick and easy for me to see statistical outliers.
