Get the Europe exposure specifically if you are getting a chance for onsite. International exposure can unlock doors which some brands can't.
Just ask what are the onsite opportunities in both the companies. As you said Director is a friend then it will be easy for you to go for onsite as everything will be in his hands. Also Deloitte pays very good hike usually though wlb will not be there. Again here as well the director can influence.
Yeah it all depends on the reporting manager. Company is always good but the people within it will make the difference.
You take deloitte ... your answers so far seem like you have already chosen that in your heart.
And tell me about that european company !! 😅
How can a consulting firm like deloitte and that too im the role you mentioned help you to get into product manager roles later. Max you can begone a project or program manager.
With what Deloitte will offer me uncertainty & an opportunity to carve my own path into a PM role. I did not mention before that the team is only 3 people currently which already has 2 products to sell. The team members are 2 BAs and 1 Jr. Data Scientist. If you think about it, from a Growth Product Manager's perspective this is an opportunity to rather build a strategy from the scratch. Later since they have products, it's highly likely that with customers feedbacks I can give inputs on Product features, backlogs, sprints etc. I'll also be building a team around the product which can also impact my management skills & precisely influence on hiring the right talent along with the Director. I am looking at this position not from a designation POV but a learning POV which can eventually translate into finding a PM role within or outside the company.
