I feel like sporting events are expected to be more casual. Don’t look sloppy, but if you pair the hoodie with nicer jeans (no rips or holes) and either nice sneakers, boots, or ballet flats, and appear otherwise polished, I think it’s fine. You could always wear a nicer blouse under the hoodie in case you end up somewhere like a dinner or bar afterwards.

I feel like hockey games are SUPER casual because it's cold. Dark jeans and a team hoodie or jersey should be completely fine. I wouldn't wear a blouse or anything, if you didn't have a team-themed top then a nice sweater (not a sweatshirt) would be completely fine.

Assuming you don’t have a team t -shirt/sweatshirt/jersey, jeans and a sweater. Unless the hoodie is team gear, it could look too casual around clients.

Team hoodie is good with nicer jeans and boots works well, regular, non-team loungewear style/weekend hoodie is a no with clients. Professional ice hockey rinks aren’t really cold.

How diligent is Mintz background check. When it comes to education? My references, credit, criminal and work experiences will check out. However said I already graduated school when I am in reality a month away from graduating. The company sent over the contract and start date at the same time as the background check.
