But along with that there are many more notifications like pf, nominee etc. Some needs to be send hard copy to Bangalore.
My question is..do I need so send it before joining or after joining?

We are the best strategy firm in the world. Your loss. Our CEO is the most powerful woman in business, top that!
Please… you are making me cringe…
My guess is that all these MD’s are not actually poor performers and there are deeper issues at play.
I’m literally switching Accenture Strategy for EY. The issue is on the direction where the C-Levels are taking the firm (WITCH). This is not the same Accenture from Pierre N. days 15 years ago…
They’ve got too many (underperforming) MDs, resulting in lower financial performance, and material impact to variable comp and promotions. Having to work that through the system while also seeing material improvement in profitability, before onboarding more MDs.
Coming from another in a similar position…
They are bringing in new MDs at premium salary. As P1 states, we continue to purge the dead weight throughout this year.
MD1 - Are these numbers for the Strategy practice?
This is interesting! Got pinged for a senior partner (or whatever they call it) role in Strategy. Guess the comments above make it an easy decline.
Strategy alum here - hearing MD variable comp was garbage (no surprised, always was vs peers) but particularly bad last year. Assuming it’s the same issue as others - too many MDs, not enough demand for the offerings. And as with other firms, it varies across industry / service groups
Fwiw strategy historically at least tried to match peer comp, but incentive comp is always gonna lag MBB / big 4
My two-cents is that we have too many MDs with “internal” roles. Unfortunately they aren’t perceived as under performing and deemed necessary. So leadership has to realize we can get same business outcomes without these “leaders”. It’s been like this for about 5 years and so I don’t hold out hope that any leaders are going to realize this and make a change soon (maybe never).
Been in a holding pattern for 4 months now and not holding my breath.
Don’t listen to these haters - we are the most valuable consulting company in the world, we have the most powerful woman in business as our leader, we have key leaders from IPP firms steering our direction. Who cares about a few years of way below market comp, we are WINNING!!!!!
Love it
Thanks for the feedback. Sounds best to wait a while until things stabilize.
