Biggest mistake I made was not taking more risks when I was young. When I got older, I realized I was becoming stagnate in a job, and I wasn't advancing or growing. I had to quickly adapt and take big risks on bigger positions. I'm happier with where I'm at now, but my advice is to never be afraid of the risk and to take them while you can.

Probably the biggest mistake was sleeping with my manager. I lost my family and eventually, when the "bloom was off the rose" so to speak, lost my job as well. I recovered by getting another position in another city, mending relations to some degree with my ex, and becoming an active part in my children's lives. I also learned a huge life lesson that I should've known when I was a 20s-something professional. I have someone else in my life and I know that I will never make that kind of stupid mistake again.

When I am sourcing, I tend to find candidates who are a great fit but then wouldn’t work for 1 reason or another. for example. 3 months into their current role so the likely hood of wanting to move is low. What tools do you use to make a note of these otherwise perfect candidates? Do you have a spreadsheet? Do you use LinkedIn projects? Just keen to know best practices! Please share away 😊

I recently completed two rounds of Interview,
01 with the hiring managers (Senior Vice President & Vice President) and second was with the Director, the second round happened approx. 2 weeks back, currently my job application status shows as "Business Review" can someone shed a light on what this means and how long does it take for Citi to get back with an answer i.e. am i selected or rejected.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.
