I know I'm in the minority here (and I swear this isn't a brag) but is anyone else less stressed this busy season working from home, and finding issues focusing because of it? My work is getting done, but just very very slowly. Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

Does anyone have tips on how to prepare for interviews? I do fine on panels and personal interviews. But Every time I have an on camera interview about a project where I have practiced key points to hit- I tend to blank and get over whelmed.

I have worked as data engineer in service based companies and mostly worked on informatica and IBM datastage , SQL, Teradata currently doing trainings on python and GCP. I need guidance on how/where to prepare for typical data engineering profile to crack interviews in Faang/Maang or other good product based companies.
Main problem is I can learn many things but due to lack of hands on experience in the Cloud technologies

Skills : ETL, DWH and sql (need to master) , unix , teradata

What are folks thoughts on nuclear power? I have heard there are many detractors. Before getting into consulting, I was trained to operate a nuclear power plant on a submarine and learned about this excellent source of energy.

The main issues I see with it are the initial upfront costs to setup (with the cheapest generation costs thereafter), and disposal of nuclear waste (which some new technologies are being developed to reuse the waste in a different kind of reactor).
