I recently got approached by the HR team of an external company with a job opportunity that appears to be attractive from responsibility/job function perspective. It would be a huge boost to my career growth if I got it. He already scheduled the initial interview with the hiring manager for me. I keep thinking that they are using me to get an internal candidate promoted. I know for a fact I can do the job fabulously btw.Thoughts?

Flexibility and adaptability are key! I've also learned that there's no such thing as "too much communication." Be as transparent as possible with your staff - they will appreciate it!
^ As a retail employee, I can't tell you how much I value a transparent manager! It really helps build trust among the team.
