Need some clarifications about offer letter acceptance. What if you accept offer but at last did not join because you got another offer at last moment.? Do companies take any action on this ?

I have been offered an internship for Equity Research role for 2 months. Based on my performance, I'll be on boarded full time. However, they are not letting me know the salary range I can expect once the internship ends. How can I negotiate a salary as per my expectations?

In discussions to make a lateral move. Is there any way I can negotiate higher pay outside the fixed bands? Higher annual bonus, signing bonus? I assume chances are low but worth trying.

Community, I’ve been meeting with a lot of people regarding next steps in my career. One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:
- Agencies you would steer clear from because their leadership micromanages
- Agencies you would recommend because their leadership gives you room to grow
