I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

My review is good as told by LM, got met , hike is still single digit, though my package is not high as per say. Did 2 certifications. People who have not done any certification, don't take much work load got same hike in my team. In seperate squards, people will below avg technical expertise ( not aware about basic string operations in code) got better ratings.
Looks like efforts don't count, only how close and how much you take part in those office politics and event nonsense will be considered and deemed "culture fit". So much of bias on region , language and gender at times is clearly evident and feels to be done purposely. May be a way to filter few " non fit" so called invisible resources who carry most burden. Work culture to nature of work all terrible. A typical indian service based mindset exists on top brass ( looks to be diversity hire else only good enough to be some PMO) throwing buzz words like AI without getting any fu***ing jist of process or technology.
Communication will be done between 23-25 Sept and Hike letter should be available by this month end.

By the way I think most of the folks have got 10% hike and 55% variable payout.
No fee have got less hike and 0 hike and 50% stvr
